Hi everyone! Happy February! I’ve been meaning to do a post all week, but due to my first round of exams, I’ve been studying almost non-stop. I did, however, go to the mall on the first of February, and wanted to share my mall haul with you all 🙂 I got some beauty items off of my wishlist as well as some great sale deals.
Happy Monday everyone! I hope your week has gotten off to a great start! Florida has been getting a mix of spring/autumn weather lately, and although I really wish I could bust out my over the knee boots, that probably won’t be happening until maybe later in the week. I just wanted to share two of my favorite outfits with you all, featuring some of the pieces I bought during the holiday sales.
If you’re big on following beauty bloggers on Instagram, or frequent ULTA, then you know all about the new Real Techniques brush collection! It’s their premium collection which boasts ultra soft bristles (making them very luxe feeling) and weighted handles for flawless application. Real Techniques is one of my favorite brands to buy brushes and sponges from, and I’m a sucker for anything gold/rose gold/silver, so of course I had to try these out! Continue reading
Hello my loves! I hope you’ve all gotten off to a great start this week. Yesterday was my first day of school for the spring semester, and I’m taking a relatively lighter load than I was last semester, so I’m pretty optimistic about it for the most part. 🙂 Since I’ve moved out of Gainesville, I’ve taken a lot more time to explore Orlando and do more than just the tourist-y things (although those things are great too). Most weekends, I explore new places, and by places I mean FOOD! Coffee shops, restaurants, and markets are definitely my jam (no pun intended). This past weekend, I had a nice girl’s day to end winter break with one of my friends, and discovered two places that I will definitely visit again in the future. And in case anyone was wondering – I tried something new with my hair. In addition to getting a much needed trim, I added some balayage highlights to my hair! Although I love jet black hair, I just wanted to spice my hair up a little. Okay, back to food and coffee!
Ever since I started keeping tabs on Pantone’s Color of the Year, it hasn’t steered me wrong. 2015 is no different. In case you haven’t heard by now, Marsala is this year’s Color of the Year. Here’s a description of the color according to Pantone‘s website:
A naturally robust and earthy wine red, Marsala enriches our minds, bodies and souls.
I’m absolutely loving it. Here’s how I recently styled the Color of the Year!
One of the things I got for Christmas from my dad was a box full of ColourPop items that I put on my wishlist. You may have read about them in a previous blog post, or have seen them on Instagram. They’re a fairly new company based in Los Angeles, CA that prides themselves on standing against animal testing, which is always a plus. Today I wanted to share what I got, as well as rave about the company, because I’m pretty sure I will not stop until I have every last item on their website. (I wish I was kidding.) Continue reading
Hi everyone! Happy New Year! I hope you all have a blissful and prosperous 2015. Last night I rang in the New Year with two of my closest friends at a wine bar. We had a flight of four different sparkling wines as well as a cheese plate and the best truffle mac and cheese I have ever had. Here’s a quick post for you with some outfit details! Thank you so much for following my blog; it’ll be very interesting to see where blogging will take me in the new year.
