Hi beauties! I hope you’ve been having a lovely week 🙂 You don’t have to have been a follower of mine since the start of my blog to notice that my best friend, Peter, and I love to play with makeup. We’ve been doing beauty looks since we first met – it’s basically what we bonded over. He has finally launched his gorgeous website; www.PeterPratts.info! This week, we worked on two new looks.

Peter and I decided to a fun pink series featuring the Urban Decay Electric Palette and Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick in ‘Peony’. The full make-up details are on his website. My blazer is from Nordstrom Rack and necklace is from Francesca’s (old). I basically collect statement necklaces every summer, so I will definitely do a post on my wishlist for this summer when the time comes! This is such a cute ‘going out’ look, especially if pink is your favorite color (it’s actually my favorite color!). Just a tip- if you have very pigmented lips like I do, you should put concealer on your lips first so that the true lipstick color stands out.

This is a look that Peter did for a mini-shoot that I had with Emma Cowart Photography. The pictures were for her to test out her new Photoshop actions on, and they came out so much better than I thought they would. You’ll see what I mean if I decide to blog about the photos, but I felt so silly trying to put on my best ‘model face’. Emma is a phenomenal photographer and directs very well, so it’s always fun to work with her. Peter did a natural daytime look using my LORAC Pro Palette, MAC’s Sunbasque blush (which I definitely need to buy, I love the glow it gives me!), and my favorite MLBB (My Lips But Better) lipstick – MAC’s Velvet Teddy. I styled the shoot with the romper I was going to wear for Valentine’s Day and my favorite Bauble Bar accessories.

Go check out his website for my most recent make-up details and his portfolio, and let me know what you think! He’ll be starting a YouTube channel soon, which means tutorials, which actually means giving you all a glimpse of how we improvise when something goes wrong (aka every single time). 😉
